MISSION STATEMENT OF ST. ANSELM PARISH
|
OUR GOAL is to be active in the mission of the Universal Church as a sacrament of unity, dependent on God’s help in its earthly pilgrimage and filled with ardent hope for the fulfillment of God’s kingdom.
WE SEEK to create within the parish, an environment that gives witness that we have been called by god and inspired by the spirit to a life of holiness in Christ; that our belief and foundation in Christ is evident in everything we do; that we care for and are concerned for each other; that we recognize and support individual gifts within the community; and where we can come together as a single people to give glorious worship to God.
WE STRIVE to continuously build community and to become evangelizing people through the pastoral care given to all community, while at the same time striving to offer healing grace to those who are separated or alienated from this community, while not forgetting our part in sharing the Word of God with those who have not heard the Good News.
ALL MEMBERS of St. Anselm Parish Community, from the youngest through the oldest, will be ministered to as well as given the opportunity to participate in this community’s service to others, thus promoting both individual and parish growth.
